The makers of Vicky Donor are back with 2015's first family entertainer, Piku, starring stalwart Amitabh Bachchan, the gorgeous Deepika Padukone and the inimitable Irrfan Khan. This film directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by N.P. Singh, Ronnie Lahiri, Sneha Rajani. The soundtrack is composed entirely by Anupam Roy, the lyrics are also written by Anupam Roy. Piku is scheduled for release on May 8, 2015.

Synopsis :
Deepika Padukone portrays the titular protagonist, a Bengali architect living in New Delhi, and Amitabh Bachchan plays her ageing father. The film explores the dynamics of their relationship as they take a road trip to Kolkata. While this movie, about a crazy father-daughter duo, is packaged with ingredients that make for a perfect family comedy, director Shoojit seems to have brought back the slice-of-life element that was the hallmark of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's cinema.
